Find Prospects Now Run a scan now
Start a Find Prospects Now scan of your Facebook groups on demand from the dashboard, the extension or your phone, follow its progress, and stop it.
Click Run scan now in the dashboard header, in Settings → Scan Settings, or on the extension page. You can start a scan from your phone too: the scan runs on your computer.
Before it starts
A scan can start when:
- your setup is finished and your plan is active;
- at least one group is selected;
- a computer with the extension is online and connected to Facebook;
- no other scan is running.
If no computer is available, a dialog asks you to open the Chrome extension on your computer. As soon as it connects, the dialog shows The Chrome Extension is connected and you can start the scan.
Progress
The button shows the scan's progress:
- Waiting for your extension…
- Starting scan…
- Scanning Facebook groups… 45%
- Scan complete · 100%
New matching posts appear in the New tab and get a Last scan badge.
Stop a scan
Click Stop scan. Posts already found are kept. A scan that does not start within about 90 seconds is cancelled automatically, and you can try again.
If the scan stops
Scan stopped. Please try again. usually means Chrome was closed, the computer went to sleep or Facebook was disconnected during the scan. Check the extension page, then run the scan again. See Troubleshooting.

Scan schedule
Choose how often Find Prospects Now scans your Facebook groups — every 1 to 6 hours, or only when you start a scan manually.
Scheduler computer
When the Find Prospects Now extension is installed on several computers, one of them runs your scheduled scans and another takes over automatically if it goes offline.
