The Find Prospects Now MCP plugin brings your prospecting workflow into ChatGPT. Ask for relevant requests, read the full posts behind a shortlist and prepare changes to your review queue in the same conversation. You can use it to spend less time navigating between screens and more time understanding which people your business can help.

What the ChatGPT MCP plugin connects

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol: the connection lets ChatGPT use specific Find Prospects Now tools after you authorize your account. Instead of copying every post into a chat yourself, you can ask ChatGPT to retrieve relevant records from your monitoring workspace.

The plugin works with posts already captured by Find Prospects Now and with your saved monitoring configuration. Your Chrome extension remains the scan runner. Connecting ChatGPT does not give it access to every Facebook group or make it publish comments on your behalf.

Connect your Find Prospects Now account

  1. Start with an active Find Prospects Now account and your normal monitoring setup.
  2. In ChatGPT, select the Find Prospects Now plugin or connection made available to your account or workspace.
  3. Complete the sign-in and authorization flow for the Find Prospects Now account you want to use.
  4. Choose the permissions you are comfortable granting, then ask ChatGPT to identify the connected account.

If you are setting up a custom MCP connection, open your ChatGPT connection page for the configured server URL and account status. Use the connection instructions provided for your workspace. Plugin availability and the ChatGPT settings interface can depend on your account and workspace permissions.

You do not need to paste your Facebook password, account tokens or server credentials into a prompt. Follow the account authorization screen. If the connection is unavailable, finish your normal workflow in the dashboard while access is arranged.

Find the requests that fit your business

Describe the audience, service and review state you want. You can ask for New posts, Saved posts, a particular group, a connected Facebook account or posts containing a relevant phrase. New results exclude posts already Saved or hidden, so explain which queue you mean.

Search results are a bounded selection, not necessarily the entire history. If you want a complete review of a period, ask ChatGPT to continue through the available pages and explain what it searched. An empty result page alone may not mean there are no further matches.

Read full posts before qualifying a shortlist

Compact search results help you choose what to read next. Ask ChatGPT to fetch the full text of selected posts before relying on a short excerpt. Have it identify stated location, task, timing and missing information, using the lead qualification checklist.

Reading a post through the plugin does not mark it Seen or save it. You can explore the evidence first and decide on the review action afterwards. Open the original Facebook thread before replying to check whether the request is still current.

Prepare Save, New, Seen and author changes for approval

With management permission, ChatGPT can prepare supported post changes for your review. Ask it to show exactly which posts it intends to save or mark Seen, then approve the specific preview before changes are applied. Preparation and application are separate steps.

Hide and Unhide are author decisions with broader effects than one post. Review the author and scope carefully, including effects across connected accounts and future matches. If a post has changed since the preview, request a fresh review rather than assuming the earlier action still fits.

Refine your monitoring with ChatGPT

Ask ChatGPT to read your current keyword list, AI criteria and selected groups before proposing improvements. The plugin supports preparing additions or edits to keywords and AI criteria, supported settings changes and selections from groups already imported by your Chrome connection.

Use the keyword templates for useful starting language. Plan limits still apply, and AI criteria need Pro access. When changing group selections, review the preview: deselecting a group stops its monitoring and marks its existing New posts Seen. Selecting it again does not restore those earlier New states.

Request a manual scan when you need fresh results

The plugin can request Run Scan Now for a specific connected account after your approval and read the progress of that request. Confirm the account first, and check that its monitoring setup is complete and its extension is connected and ready.

Chrome still needs to be running on an awake computer with access to Facebook. A request to start a scan is not a completed scan. Ask ChatGPT for the status of the same request before making another request, then review the resulting posts when it finishes.

Draft a useful reply from the actual request

After reading a suitable post, ask ChatGPT to draft an answer that addresses the question, discloses your business connection and asks for one missing detail. Check the draft yourself and follow the group rules when you respond on Facebook.

The reply templates provide examples. The plugin does not send that reply or contact the person for you.

Keep control of permissions and results

Read-only access lets you investigate prospects without granting management permissions. Review proposed writes before approval, and use your account connection controls to inspect the connection or disconnect it. Do not treat a prepared proposal as proof that a change succeeded; read the returned outcome.

Keep match counts, qualified requests, conversations and booked work separate with the lead tracking guide. ChatGPT can help you reason about the records you retrieve, but a summary is not confirmation that a customer booked or paid.

Get started and read the connection guidance

Start with one specific request: find a few relevant New posts, read their full text and make a shortlist. Once that works, add approved review actions and monitoring refinements to your routine. Visit your connection page or follow the Find Prospects Now setup guide if you still need to configure monitoring.
