Privacy Policy

This policy explains how KERNL LIMITED collects, uses, and protects the personal data of Find Prospects Now users.

1. Data controller and scope

  • Operator: KERNL LIMITED, a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales.
  • Service covered: Find Prospects Now.
  • Privacy contact: contact@findprospectsnow.com.
  • This policy covers the website, account dashboard, Chrome extension, and related features (together, the “Service”).

2. Information handled by the Service

Depending on the features you use, the Service handles:

  • account and authentication data, including your name, email address, password submitted for sign-in, Google sign-in token, Find Prospects Now session tokens and account identifiers;
  • billing data, including subscription status and Paddle customer and transaction identifiers; Paddle processes payment-card details directly and Find Prospects Now does not store full card details;
  • Facebook account data needed to provide the extension, including thec_user or i_user account identifier, selected group identifiers, group names and group URLs;
  • Facebook content visible to the account already signed in to Chrome, including post text, author name, post and group identifiers, post URL, publication time and related metadata;
  • monitoring preferences, including keywords, excluded keywords, AI criteria, role or search description, language, selected groups, scan schedule, notification settings and webhook configuration;
  • technical and usage data, including an installation identifier, extension version, scan times, numbers of groups and posts processed, match counts, AI usage totals and error or performance information;
  • messages and information you submit when contacting support.

The extension may also use temporary Facebook session and request values that are available to pages in your signed-in browser so that it can request content your account is permitted to view. These values remain in the extension or are sent to Facebook; Find Prospects Now does not ask for or receive your Facebook password.

3. How information is used

We use information to:

  • create and secure your account;
  • monitor the Facebook groups you select, compare visible posts with your keywords or AI criteria and display matching results;
  • deliver browser notifications and user-configured webhook alerts;
  • verify subscription or licence access;
  • process billing and manage subscriptions;
  • measure usage limits and maintain, secure and troubleshoot the Service;
  • prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell personal information and do not use Facebook or Google user data for personalised advertising, credit decisions or data-broker services.

4. Local storage and server records

The extension stores account session tokens, preferences, selected groups, matched posts, notification history, the webhook delivery outbox and optional AI-provider keys in Chrome storage or IndexedDB on your device. Depending on your Chrome settings, some preferences may be synchronised by Chrome.

Our servers store account, access, subscription, licence, aggregate scan, AI usage and webhook-delivery records in Supabase. Server-side scan analytics contain counts and operational information, not the text of Facebook posts. When webhooks are enabled, matching-result data is stored temporarily in encrypted form until delivery finishes, then removed. Delivery metadata is retained for up to seven days.

5. AI processing and optional API keys

When you enable AI matching, the extension sends the relevant post text, group name, your criteria, keywords, language and optional role description to the Find Prospects Now HTTPS API. Before transmission, the Service removes URLs, email addresses and common long identifiers from post text where detected. Our backend sends this material to Google Gemini to generate classifications or keyword suggestions. Google may process this information under its applicable service terms and privacy commitments.

The extension interface includes optional key fields for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Perplexity, DeepSeek and xAI (Grok). In this release, keys entered in those fields are stored locally in the extension and are not sent to Find Prospects Now servers. The managed AI service currently uses Google Gemini. If a future release activates direct processing by another provider, we will update this policy and provide an in-product disclosure before sending content or keys.

6. Webhooks chosen by you

If you enable a webhook, the extension sends matching-result data to Find Prospects Now, which queues delivery to the URL you provide. The payload can include post text, author name, group name, post URL, date, matched keywords and AI match information. Webhook URLs, optional signing secrets and pending payloads are encrypted on our servers. QStash receives only an internal delivery identifier; it does not receive the matching-result payload or your destination credentials. The Slack, Discord or other destination you choose processes delivered data under its own terms.

7. Service providers and disclosures

We use the following categories of providers to operate the Service:

  • Supabase for authentication, database hosting and account sessions;
  • Google for optional Google sign-in and Gemini AI processing;
  • Paddle for checkout, subscription management and billing records;
  • transactional email providers, including Resend where enabled;
  • Upstash QStash for reliable delivery scheduling and retries using internal identifiers;
  • Slack, Discord or another webhook destination only when you configure it.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the Service, to investigate abuse, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets subject to appropriate notice and safeguards.

8. Browser permissions

The extension uses Chrome permissions for local storage, Google identity, scheduled scans, opening and communicating with tabs, request rules, notifications and access to Facebook cookies. Host access is limited to Facebook pages and https://findprospectsnow.com. The Facebook cookie permission is used to identify the Facebook account active in the Chrome profile; it is not used for advertising.

Find Prospects Now only works with Facebook content that your signed-in account can already view. It does not grant access to private groups or content that the account is not authorised to access. Find Prospects Now is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Meta or Facebook.

9. Retention and security

Local extension data remains on your device until you delete it, sign out, clear browser data or uninstall the extension, subject to Chrome synchronisation. We retain server records only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, enforce limits, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes and prevent abuse. Retention periods may differ by record type.

Data sent between the extension and Find Prospects Now uses HTTPS. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards and restrict access to operational needs, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your personal information, or object to certain processing. You can disable AI matching, notifications or webhooks, remove saved results, sign out or uninstall the extension. To make a privacy request, contact us using the address below. We may need to verify your identity.

11. International transfers

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

12. Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We limit the use and transfer of Google and Chrome user data to providing or improving the user-facing monitoring features, security and reliability of the Service.

13. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to contact@findprospectsnow.com.
