Privacy Policy

1. Data controller and scope

• Operator: KERNL LIMITED, a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales.
• Service covered: Find Prospects Now.
• Privacy contact: contact@findprospectsnow.com.
• This policy covers the website, account dashboard, Chrome extension, optional ChatGPT connection and related features (together, the “Service”).

2. Information handled by the Service

Depending on the features you use, the Service handles:

• account and authentication data, including your name, email address, password submitted for sign-in, Google sign-in token, Find Prospects Now session tokens and account identifiers;
• billing data, including subscription status and Stripe customer, checkout and transaction identifiers; Stripe processes payment-card details directly and Find Prospects Now does not store full card details;
• Facebook account data needed to provide the extension, including thec_user or i_useraccount identifier, the account's name and profile photo (stored encrypted, to identify the account in your dashboard), selected group identifiers, group names and group URLs;
• Facebook content visible to the account already signed in to Chrome, including post text, author name, post and group identifiers, post URL, publication time and related metadata;
• monitoring preferences, including keywords, excluded keywords, AI criteria, role or search description, language, selected groups, scan schedule, notification settings and webhook configuration;
• technical and usage data, including an installation identifier, extension version, scan times, numbers of groups and posts processed, match counts, AI usage totals and error or performance information;
• messages and information you submit when contacting support.

The extension may also use temporary Facebook session and request values that are available to pages in your signed-in browser so that it can request content your account is permitted to view. These values remain in the extension or are sent to Facebook; Find Prospects Now does not ask for or receive your Facebook password.

3. How information is used

We use information to:

• create and secure your account;
• monitor the Facebook groups you select, compare visible posts with your keywords or AI criteria and display matching results;
• deliver browser notifications and user-configured webhook alerts;
• verify subscription or licence access;
• process billing and manage subscriptions;
• measure usage limits and maintain, secure and troubleshoot the Service;
• prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell personal information and do not use Facebook or Google user data for personalised advertising, credit decisions or data-broker services.

4. Data storage

Find Prospects Now stores certain information locally on your device, including browser session data, scan progress, notifications, technical logs and optional API keys.

Our servers securely store account information, subscription details, monitoring preferences, usage records and prospect data necessary to operate and synchronize the Service.

This may include Facebook post content, author and group information, matching results, Saved posts and Hidden users.

Matching posts are retained on our servers for up to 14 days, unless explicitly saved. Saved posts remain available until removed. Hidden-user preferences remain until removed or automatically expired according to your settings. Limited deletion records may be retained to prevent previously removed data from being restored.

Sensitive stored information is protected using encryption and appropriate security measures.

5. AI processing and ChatGPT integration

When AI features are enabled, relevant post content and matching criteria may be processed by third-party AI providers, including Google Gemini. We take steps to minimize unnecessary personal information before processing.

Optional third-party AI API keys entered in the extension are stored locally and are not transmitted to our servers.

If you connect Find Prospects Now to ChatGPT, selected account information, monitoring settings and prospect data may be shared with OpenAI at your request. Access is limited to the Find Prospects Now account you connect.

You can optionally authorize ChatGPT to manage supported settings and prospect statuses, subject to your approval. OpenAI processes information under its own applicable terms and privacy policy.

Connecting ChatGPT is optional and can be revoked at any time. Revocation does not remove information previously shared.

6. Webhooks and external integrations

If you enable webhooks, relevant prospect information may be transmitted to the external services you select.

We temporarily process and store information necessary for delivery. Limited delivery records may be retained for up to seven days.

External services receiving this information operate under their respective privacy policies.

7. Third-party service providers

We work with trusted third-party providers for hosting, authentication, payments, AI processing, communications and service integrations.

We share information with these providers as necessary to deliver and maintain the Service.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to prevent misuse, protect our rights or in connection with a legitimate business transaction.

8. Browser permissions and Facebook access

The extension uses browser permissions necessary for scanning Facebook content, managing sessions, storing information locally, scheduling scans and sending notifications.

Find Prospects Now only processes Facebook content accessible to your signed-in Facebook account. It does not provide access to restricted content.

Find Prospects Now is an independent service and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Meta or Facebook.

9. Data retention and security

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to operate the Service, fulfill contractual obligations, comply with applicable laws and maintain security.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption and access controls, to protect stored information.

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable legal requirements, using the contact details provided in this policy.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your personal information, or object to certain processing. You can disable AI matching, notifications or webhooks, Hide or Unhide authors, remove saved results, sign out or uninstall the extension. To make a privacy request, contact us using the address below. We may need to verify your identity.

11. International transfers

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

12. Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We limit the use and transfer of Google and Chrome user data to providing or improving the user-facing monitoring features, security and reliability of the Service.

13. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to contact@findprospectsnow.com.
