Webhooks send your new leads to another app after every scan that finds matches. Find Prospects Now formats messages automatically for **Slack** and **Discord**, and sends structured JSON to any other URL — Zapier, Make, n8n, your CRM or your own server.

## Add a webhook

1. Go to **Settings → Notifications → Webhook notifications**.
2. Click **Add webhook**.
3. Enter a **Name** and the **Webhook URL**.
4. Optional, for custom endpoints: a **Signing secret** to verify requests ([how](https://findprospectsnow.com/docs/notifications/webhook-payload#verify-the-signature)).
5. Save, then click **Test** to send a sample lead.

The destination type is detected from the URL:

| URL | Format |
| --- | --- |
| `https://hooks.slack.com/services/…` | Slack message (up to 20 leads per message) |
| `https://discord.com/api/webhooks/…` | Discord embed (up to 10 leads per message) |
| Any other `https://` URL | JSON payload ([reference](https://findprospectsnow.com/docs/notifications/webhook-payload)) |

### Get a Slack webhook URL

In Slack, create an app with **Incoming Webhooks** enabled, add a webhook to the channel you want, and copy its URL.

### Get a Discord webhook URL

In Discord, open the channel's **Edit Channel → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook** and click **Copy Webhook URL**.

## Manage webhooks

Each webhook can be **edited** (including replacing the URL or removing the signing secret), **disabled/enabled**, **tested** or **deleted**.

**Delivery history** shows the deliveries of the last 7 days with their status: queued, retrying, delivered, failed or cancelled. Failed deliveries caused by a temporary problem (timeouts, rate limits, server errors) are retried automatically.

## Limits

| Plan | Active webhooks |
| --- | --- |
| Plus | 1 |
| Pro | 5 |

After a downgrade, your extra webhooks are disabled, not deleted.

## URL requirements

- `https://` only, on the standard port.
- Must be publicly reachable (no localhost or private network addresses).
- No username or password in the URL.

> **Note:** Messages include the post text and author name, so send them only to channels and tools your team controls.
