# Chrome notifications and badge

> Get a desktop alert from Chrome when a Find Prospects Now scan finds new leads, and see your number of new leads on the extension icon.

Both settings are in **Settings → Notifications → Notification Settings** and are on by default.

## Chrome notifications

Get a desktop alert when a scan finds new leads — for example **🎯 Found 3 new leads**. Click it to open the leads, or click **View Dashboard**. Alerts disappear on their own after a short time.

Chrome must be allowed to show notifications:

- **Windows:** Settings → System → Notifications → Google Chrome on.
- **macOS:** System Settings → Notifications → Google Chrome → Allow notifications.
- Focus or Do Not Disturb modes may hide them.

## Extension badge

Shows your number of **New** leads on the Find Prospects Now icon in Chrome's toolbar (up to 99+). Pin the extension to see it: click the puzzle icon in Chrome and pin **Find Prospects Now**. The badge goes down as you mark leads as seen.

## Languages

Notifications follow your language setting: English, French or Spanish.
