# Install the Chrome extension

> Install the Find Prospects Now extension from the Chrome Web Store, sign in, and connect your Facebook account so scans can run.

### Add it to Chrome

Open the [Find Prospects Now page on the Chrome Web Store](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/find-prospects-now/jclgloljoejjfnbfhjgclgnnnmgphekd) on your desktop computer and click **Add to Chrome**. The extension opens its page automatically after installation.

### Pin it

Click the puzzle icon in Chrome's toolbar and pin **Find Prospects Now**. The pinned icon shows your number of new leads and opens the extension page in a new tab.

### Sign in

Sign in with your Find Prospects Now email and password, or **Sign in with Google**. Use the same account as on the website.

> **Note:** Google sign-in in the extension does not create an account. If you are new, [sign up on the website](https://findprospectsnow.com/auth/sign-up) first.

### Connect Facebook

If you are already logged in to Facebook in this Chrome profile, the extension shows **Facebook account connected** with your name and picture. Otherwise, click **Connect Facebook to start a scan**, log in to Facebook, and the page reconnects automatically.

Your Facebook email does not need to match your Find Prospects Now email.

### Finish setup on the dashboard

Continue with the [setup wizard](https://findprospectsnow.com/docs/getting-started/onboarding) on the website. The wizard detects the extension as soon as it is connected.

## Updating

Chrome updates the extension automatically. If the dashboard asks you to update, open `chrome://extensions`, turn on **Developer mode** briefly and click **Update**, or simply restart Chrome.
